Similar to the premiums associated with certified organic produce, TANIT's Regenerative Reward recognises the added value of responsible agricultural production, but through a different model. Rather than farmers paying for certification, downstream buyers pay for the verified ecological data they need to meet their sourcing transparency and reporting requirements. TANIT uses this data to assess each farm's progress across six ecological pillars, determining its classification from T4 to T1. Once the buyer confirms the volume of produce delivered, TANIT calculates the farmer's reward based on that volume and their T-Tier classification. Acting as a clearinghouse, TANIT distributes a share of the buyer-funded service payment directly to farmers, with rewards increasing as their regenerative performance improves. The platform makes the entire process transparent, connecting ecological verification, agricultural deliveries and farmer payments in one system.
